This week wasn't particularly good for our routine, I only walked to work 1 day and was getting sandwiches from the snack van, so I was pleased that I lost the 2kg put on during our holiday.
This weekend sees the start of the 3-Peaks Challenge training, with a day trip to Edale in the Peak District for some walking in the mud and rain :)
The next couple of weeks are going to be tough with the eating too, I've got a 3-day trip to London and an 8-day trip to Sweden, both for work - so the routine is going to be well and truly stuffed...gonna have to be very disciplined!

Week 8 - Gained 2.0kg
On holiday in Lanzerote, I tried to be as good as possible with the eating and drinking but still gained 4 pounds / 2kg.

Week 7 - Lost 0.5kg
I lost another 0.5kg this week, that's 5kg (11 pounds) lost in 7 weeks... so all is going to plan :)
We're going away on holiday for a week this Sunday, so I'm expecting a little blip in the chart, but wherever possible I'll behave {grin}.
Planning for the 3 Peaks Challenge has started, training dates are now in the calendar...take a look at 2009 Goals for details.
See you after the holiday!!!!!!!!

Week 6 - Lost 2.0kg
Ironic...the week when I didn't cycle because of the weather, and drove to work twice...and I lose 2kg. I can only assume it's because I've not been having bread for lunch. A couple of days with Ryvita and a couple of days with no lunch (naughty) and I lost 2kg. Happy :)

Week 5 - Stayed The Same - New Tactic!
Hi,
I walked to work 5 of 5 days last week, both ways, through the snow and rain... so I'm very pleased about that.
My weight stayed the same this week, so this proves the maintenance diet is working, so...I need to continue losing weight and that is going to happen by removing bread from my lunchtime diet and replace it with Ryvita. 4 Ryvitas = 1 slice of bread and I was having 4 slices of bread each lunchtime. I won't be having 16 Ryvitas :)
It's still snowing here (a lot outside at the moment) so we'll have to see how the transport works out this week. Right now I'm thinking of driving to work tomorrow.

Week 4 - Stayed The Same
I was doing well midweek, my weight was down to 96kg but I ruined it by having a kebab on Friday night because neither of us wanted to cook, and a (planned) curry on Saturday night with the in-laws. Well it proves weight can be lost on this diet as long as you don't wander from the straight and narrow :)
I'm pleased with the cycling and walking to work - I only took the car once this week (Monday) and that was only because it was raining all day. Tue / Wed / Thur I cycled and Friday I walked. I also got an 8 mile cycle done on Saturday for a bit of fun, it was slow and steady but I enjoyed it.

Week 3 - Lost 0.5kg
Wow, I lost...and am surprised because I had a leaving-do night out on Thursday with beer and a curry, then another unplanned curry with wine on Friday. So I'm surprised, a little confused, but of course pleased.
The rainy weather only allowed me to walk / cycle 3 of the 5 days this last week, but I'm hoping to use the bicycle most of the coming week. It only takes me 15 minutes to get to work using the bicycle instead of 35 minutes when walking.
Planning for the 3 Peaks has started, looks like there will be 2 training climbs in March / April, with the 3 Peaks Challenge in May. Must get dates in the diary for this very soon!

Week 2 - Stayed The Same
I didn't lose or put on any weight this week which is a little confusing because I walked to work 4 of the 5 days and was very good with my eating. I can only assume it's my body getting used to the lower calory intake and adjusting my metabolism to compensate...so, as you were this coming week and hopefully we'll see a change at next Sunday's weigh-in.
This week coming I have a night out on Thursday for a work colleague's leaving do - I'll try and be good, but I know it'll involve beer and curry.
The new bicycle has arrived, I collected it yesterday and am very please. It only has 3 gears so is quite hard on the uphill bits - which is good, it'll make me work harder.

Week 1 - Lost 2.0kg
Lost 2kg in the first week, pretty much what I expected as there has been no beer, curry, crisps or nuts, I've been eating healthily and walked to work a couple of times. This next week should really show how well I'm doing as it's a normal full work week and I'll walk to the office all 5 days and continue with Cleeby's Slimming World menu :)

And We're Off...
The first offical weigh-in of the year has happened - 99.5kg or 15 stones & 9 pounds in old money. My target weight is 80kg or 12 stones & 8 pounds, so I got to lose 20% of my body weight to achieve that.
I'm going to try and keep the weigh-in to a Sunday morning and post the results & a summary of the week's eating & exercise straight away. More news next Sunday.
